Faculty of Law operates based on the standards of Association of Legal Profession Control with the major responsibilities in producing the graduates to become excellent doctoral degree students in law program as well as to offer the academic legal services to the community, to arrange the legal trainings for the local authorities, to research for local development, and to be the central of Law Education for the barristers in Southern Thailand. Consequently, our responsibilities lead to produce the graduates in many fields in order to meet the legal academic needs of the community and to produce the master degree graduates which quality is acceptable to the society.

2002  Office of the Civil Service Commission approved the graduates from Bachelor of Law, Suratthani
Rajabhat University.

2004   Established Law Program under Faculty of Humanities and Sciences to offer Bachelor of Law
students in both regular program and weekend program.

2007   Presented the Honorary Doctoral Degree of Law (Law) to Adjunc Prof. Jarun Pakdeethanakul,
Former Secretary of the Supreme Court, Judge of the Constitutional Court (present).

2008   Director of Legal Education Committee of Thai Bar Association agreed to “equally compare the
educational standards of the Bachelor of Law examiners of Suratthani Rajabhat University with
the Bachelor of Law examiners of Thammasat University, Chulalongkorn University, or
Ramkhamhaeng University.”

2008   Presented the Honorary Doctoral Degree of Law (Law) to Mr. Chanchai Likhitjitta.

2008   Suratthani Rajabhat University Council established Faculty of Law, Law Office, at Kanjanapisek
Anusorn Building, 2nd floor, Suratthani Rajabhat University.

2009   Advocacy Training Division, Law Society of Thailand, approved the graduates from Bachelor of
Law, Suratthani Rajabhat University.

2011   Presented the Honorary Doctoral Degree of Law (Law) to Her Royal Highness Princess
Bajrakitiyabha, a daughter of Somdet Phra Boromma-orasathirat Chao Fa Maha
Vajiralongkorn Sayammakutratchakuman.

2012   Improved Bachelor of Law Program (revised edition, 2012)
