Faculty of Law, M.S. Legal Discussion on “Community Rights and Land Bridge Area Management: Community Solutions”
March 7, 2024 at the Rachaodee Room. The Faculty of Law, Surat Thani Rajabhat University has organized a project to develop jurists to have the characteristics of social engineers. The legal discussion “Community Rights and Land Bridge Project Area Management: Community Solutions” was honored by Ms. Siamon Kaiyurawong. National Human Rights Commission Special Lecture on “Guidelines and Procedures for Examining the Landmark Bridge Project” The discussion was honored by the experts involved in the management of the Land Bridge project area, namely Dr. Suradej Chiratitcharoen: Member of the Senate. Associate Professor Dr. Kittisak Prakti: Former Lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Thammasat University Mr. Pichet Thetrat: Wang Takor Sub-district Governor (Community Representative, Chumphon Province) Mr. Arakpol Arunchoti: The head of Moo 3 village, Ratchakrut sub-district (community representative, Ranong province) and Mr. Surachai Somgliang. A journalist affiliated with the Television Authority of Thailand, Surat Thani Province, was the host of the program.
The project to develop jurists to have the characteristics of social engineers. The legal discussion “Community Rights and Land Bridge Project Area Management: Community Solutions” aims to exchange knowledge, understanding, and experience on community rights issues and Land Bridge Project Area Management. It leads to solving community problems and to encourage students to realize the importance of using the law to solve social problems. The Dean of the Faculty of Law presided over the opening of the project and welcomed the panelists. Assoc. Prof. Sittikorn Saksaeng Administrators, faculty, students from the Faculty of Law, and students from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences were interested in attending the discussion.
